Arrange a visit to the centre, gardens and Stupa above Whangarei.
Before You Come
Jam Tse Dhargyey Ling sits at the top of Parakiore Road, surrounded by native bush and views across Whangarei and its harbour.
Visitors are welcome. Please contact the centre before coming so someone can meet you, confirm opening hours and explain where to park.
- Current public hours: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily, by appointment where possible.
- Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk up to the Stupa.
- Children and family visits are welcome with supervision.
- Group, school and community visits should be arranged ahead of time.
Respectful Visiting
At the Stupa
The Stupa is a sacred Buddhist monument. Walk mindfully, keep children close, and take care on the path in wet weather.
Photography
Photograph buildings, views and gardens only where appropriate. Ask before photographing Sangha, students or ceremonies.
Accessibility
Some areas include uneven ground and slopes. Contact the centre before visiting so access can be discussed honestly.
